Meet our committee members who are nominated by the Director of Clean Air Asia Office India. One member of the committee is a representative from Clean Air Asia India. The committee members engages with the youth of the Indian cities and bring them on the platform of Clean Air Asia to jointly resolve the air quality issues, the Indian cities are facing. Their different academic backgrounds provide us a unique perspective and motivates us to diversify and engage with more youth from different academic and social backgrounds, who are passionate and environment enthusiasts.

Tanya Srivastava (YCAN Project Coordinator)

Tanya is the YCAN Project Coordinator and Executive Assistant to India Director at Clean Air Asia. She comes form an academic background of commerce and experienced in management and designing. Besides, she is more enthusiastic and passionate towards social work and likes to research and spread awareness and generating solutions for the better environment through painting her views on the canvas on environmental issues. Moreover she has a interests in travelling and photography. She believes that a bunch of youth can make the change and could be the change in themselves by taking initiative of 'Yes We Can' through YCAN curb environmental issues.

Aakash Arora- Ycan Lead

Aakash is a researcher by passion, a music enthusiast and an environmentalist at heart. After starting his Ycan journey with establishing the Gandhinagar Chapter, he is currently serving air quality as the Ycan lead and working towards expanding it all across India. He, at all times wishes to channelize his efforts in working towards providing the most suitable and sustainable solutions to greatest challenges at hand.

Aashima Bhutani- Ycan Member

Aashima obtained her undergraduate degree from Dyal Singh College, the University Of Delhi in Economics and wishes to pursue Development Economics in the future. This is coupled with a desire to better the air quality in Indian cities. Her interest rests in suggesting minor and innovative solutions to the air quality conversion in India. Moreover, she is interested in global economics, policy advocacy, research, writing, art and production. Besides, she has a profound passion for nature, loves trekking and photographing.

Aryan Singh- Ycan Member

Aryan is an environment enthusiast. He is pursuing Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology Delhi. He has contributed to Ycan by working for over a year now. He hopes to create a more aware India towards the harmful effects of Air Pollution and encourages youths to innovate and create something that can save Mother Earth. One of the most radical and pragmatic person, he has contributed greatly towards the cause and has been an integral member of the team. He believes that technology and communication-based solution are the best and easy ways to tackle the air pollution issue.

Mukul Kundra- Ycan Member

Mukul is currently pursuing his Bachelors in Environmental Engineering from Delhi Technological University. He has been an active member of Ycan and is an environmental enthusiast. He is also a novelist and an entrepreneur and has written two novels till date. He is the corporate head of a DTU fest Yuvaan and also founder of a startup ‘The campus bazaar’. At present, he is in the committee of Ycan working as the communications lead.
